| dc.description.abstract | Mental disorder is the most frequent disorder in developing countries. Children and adolescents constitute about 45% of the population of Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, the number of mental disorder in children and teenagers has increased day by day. To understand its symptoms, risk factors including family history like parent’s relationship hold a great promise for the treatment, early detection and prevention of these disorders. To study the Mental Behavior Analysis of Teenagers to conduct a targeted enquiry into its quantitative magnitude This is a descriptive study were data was collected through interview with a structured questionnaire from the participants (n= 335). The participants were within 13-19 years of age mostly was a school going students. Mean age of the participant was found to be 15 years with standard deviation SD ±1.65. The percentage of different mental disorder like personality disorder, social anxiety disorder, depressive disorder and parental relationship was determined in this study. The percentage was varying by different class. In higher class teenagers had no social anxiety disorder but found a personality disorder & major depressive disorder. In lower class, lower middle class had a high percentage personality disorder, social anxiety disorder, depressive disorder and low affection to their parents. Also found a personality disorder, social anxiety disorder, depressive disorder in tribal’s teenagers. So teenagers are at increased risk of having different types of disorder. They are personality disorder, social anxiety disorder, mood disorders and behavioral disorders etc. The percentage of mental disorder lower and tribal teenagers in Bangladesh is pretty higher. Necessary steps should be taken with in coordination of parents, schools authority, communities & government to stop the prevalence of teenager’s mental disorders. | en_US |
