Design and Development of an SMS Controlled Faculty’s Status Display System

Abstract

In this project, the idea of wireless Digital Faculty’s Status Display System Controlled by SMS Using GSM Technology has been presented. Our main aim is to develop a system where any faculty can easily provide any important information for student and the information will be displayed in the LCD Display which is located on the door of the faculty’s room. As a result, students will get the information easily when they visit the faculty’s room. Here, we are trying to implement our system in such a way that it can display message when the faculty sends SMS from mobile phone to GSM module which is located on the faculty room. So in short, the GSM module which is located in the faculty’s room receives the message from faculty teacher and displays on the LCD display. For the sake of security, the system has been made password protected. If anyone sends message without password it won’t show anything on the display. The faculty teacher sends the message from anywhere and this message is displayed on LCD display.
