dc.description.abstract System performance is an important characteristic in wireless communication. The Channel quality always cannot be determined perfectly due to different aspects like the fading effects, Interference, scattering of EM wave etc. Also due to different fading effects often the transmitted data is not recovered properly at the receiving end. In this paper we measure and analyze the performance of a wireless system in Rayleigh and Rician fading channel using Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) and show how the capacity increases with respect to signal to noise ratio. It has been shown that by using MIMO system and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology the channel capacity and bandwidth efficiency increases. It has also been shown that data loss also minimizes using this technology. en_US
