dc.description.abstract Every small and large organization use computer network to share their resources. The size of network is increasing day by day. They are connecting their network to the public network such as Internet. They are scaling up their network Local Area Network to Metropolitan Area Network even Wide Area Network also. The aim of the proposed thesis is to analysis the network performance for both static and BGP route in a network, compare them finally took the best one and enhance the network performance. For performance analysis I have simulated a network topology for both Static and BGP route using an open source simulator NS2. In this research work two types of routing protocols (Static & BGP) have been analyzed to find their capabilities and deficiencies and suggest the most efficient between them. Analysis reveals that BGP routing protocol is better than Static in terms of throughput and delay. en_US
