dc.description.abstract Wireless mobile communication is key factor the next generation communication systems. But it faces several impairments in transmission such as attenuation, fading, distortion and absorption. Path loss is happened due to these problems. To minimize such path loss in transmission, different path loss models have been used. This project deals with the two prominent empirical path loss models: Okumura-Hata and COST 231. Various operating frequencies, base station height, receiver height, distance and various environments have been considered in the analysis. en_US
