dc.description.abstract ESP English for specific purpose, like any form of language teaching, is primarily concerned with learning. In its development up to now, ESP has paid scent attention to the question of how people learn, focusing instead on the question of what people learn (Hutchinson and Waters, 1987). It has in other words, been language-centered approach. An ESP program is therefore built ion an assessment of purpose and needs and the functions for which English is required. ESP concentrates more language in contest than on teaching grammar and language structures. It covers subjects varying from accounting or computer science to tourism and business management. The ESP focal point is that English is not taught as a subject separated from the student real world, instead, it is integrated into a subject matter area important to the learners en_US
