<title>Performance Improvement of GSM System through the Analysis of Key Performance Indicator for QoS</title>
<link>http://dspace.ewubd.edu:8080/handle/123456789/2196</link>
<description>Performance Improvement of GSM System through the Analysis of Key Performance Indicator for QoS
Pathan, Mohammad Fazlur Rahman
In this report I made a review of the new but rapidly growing area of Quality of Services (QoS)
in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANets). Although the application area of MANets was initially
proposed for environments of battled communications and disaster recovery the evolution of the
Multimedia Technology and the commercial interest of companies to reach widely civilian
applications has made QoS in such networks an avoidable task. In the last recent years we have
also seen the reports of bringing QoS in wire-based networks becoming a reality. Many ideas
inherited from the wirebased networks can be ported to MANets if they take in to consideration
the Bandwidth Constraints, the Dynamic Topology and the Constrained Processing and Storing
Capabilities of MANets.
In this report we will have a glance at successful QoS Models and Protocols of the IP network
such as IntServ, DiServ and RSVP and see how they
have acted the evolution of Models and Protocols in the Wireless
Ad-Hoc world. The report is mainly concentrated on QoS Models, Signaling Protocols and QoS
Routing that have been proposed for MANets. Although QoS MAC Protocols are equivalently
important to achieve a complete QoS Architecture they are out of the scope of this report.

<title>Secrecy Capacity of a Rayleigh Fading Channel under Jamming Signal</title>
<link>http://dspace.ewubd.edu:8080/handle/123456789/2195</link>
<description>Secrecy Capacity of a Rayleigh Fading Channel under Jamming Signal
Akter, Habiba; Islam, Md. Mojammel
In this project work, we deal with physical layer security of a wireless network where the secrecy capacity of the link is considered as the parameter. The impact of received signal to noise ratio (SNR) of legitimate/authorized user, the number of transmitting/receiving antenna elements of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) along with antenna elements of eavesdropper, selection of transmitting antenna element under transmit antenna selection (TAS) scheme are also contemplated. Next the outage probability of the network is determined taking SNR of valid user, number of antenna elements of both transmitter of eavesdropper and threshold value of different of channel capacity as the parameters. Finally, the impact of jammer on normalized channel capacity and outage probability of eavesdropper are analyzed taking signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) of the channel as the ratio of two random variables of fading channel.

<title>Comparative Analysis on Video Streaming KQI</title>
<link>http://dspace.ewubd.edu:8080/handle/123456789/2193</link>
<description>Comparative Analysis on Video Streaming KQI
Mohsin, Faisal
Mobile operators are focusing more on end user perception, instead of system KPI. The
motivation behind this is the increasing usage trend of smartphone and rapid growth of
streaming traffic.2 major streaming KQI ‘Duration to first play’ and ‘Buffering duration’
are discussed here along with field test results from 2 leading operators of Bangladesh.
Professional KQI test and analysis tool is used for better verification and comparison.
Test is done in both stationary and moving condition. Root cause analysis is done at the
end.
