dc.description.abstract Nanotechnology deals with the molecule between 1 to 100 nm in size. Buckyball is the first application of nanotechnology which composed of C60 atom bonded to three other carbon atoms by covalent bonds. Now a days Nanotechnology widely used in our modern life such as- Electronics and information Technology, Sustainable Energy, Environmental Remediation, Cosmetics, Food Industry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sector etc. In Pharmaceutical Sector Nanotechnology used in various purpose. Drugs can deliver intracellularly easily by using nanotechnology. Nanorobot can be diagnosis and prevent disease. Tissue damage can be reconstruction by using Nanotechnology. In Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Nanotechnology is used for manufacturing vaccine for cancer immunotherapy. Cancer cell can be damaged by using this technology. Some nanotechnology based drugs are already in market such as- Daunoxome® [Daunorubicin (liposomal)], Doxil®/Caelyx® (Doxorubicin HCl liposome), Ambisome® [amphotericin B (liposomal)] etc. en_US
