dc.description.abstract Adaptive digital filter is actually an FIR or IIR filter where the coefficients of the filter are adjusted with the variation of input signal so that the difference between the noisy signal and the noise becomes minimum. In this project work we consider two biomedical signals ECG (electrocardiogram) and EEG (electroencephalogram) as the input signal of the adaptive filter provided they are contaminated by random noise. LMS (least mean square) algorithm is used to adjust the filter coefficients to de-noise both types of signal. The original signal, noisy signal, de-noised signal and error are shown graphically. en_US
