dc.description.abstract Garcinia cowa have been used in traditional medicine in several parts of the world for treatment of the most different illnesses. In Thailand,G. cowa have been widely used in Thai folkmedicine.saponins, tanins, terpenoids, carbohydrates, flavonoids groups are present.Flavonoid are ubiquitous in photosynthesizing, cells and are commonly found in fruit, bark, leaf nuts, seeds, stems.Increasingly,Natural products is becoming the subject of anti-infective research, and many groups have isolated and identified the structures of flavonoids possessing antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial activity.Further investigations needed to identify the active constituents and the exact mechanism of action responsible for reported antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of Garcinia cowa.Garcinia cowa is a medicinal plant enriched with various chemical constituents having different medicinal activities. The different parts of Garcinia cowa as stem, leaves, bark are rinse in DCM and Methanol than get extract for Flavonoid test. The total Flavonoid content of methanol leaf was14.91 ± 0.06 mg/g QE.The result are express as mean ± standard deviation. The total Flavonoid content of methanol stem was 20.22 ± 0.036 mg/g QE. The total Flavonoid content of Pet Leaf was 77.11 ± 0.10 mg/g Quercetin(QE).The total Flavonoid content of pet stem was 79.88 ± 0.061 mg/g QE.The total Flavonoid content of DCM Leaf was 83.77 ± 0.009 mg/g QE.The total Flavonoid content of DCM Stem was 31.55 ± 0.032 mg/g QE.The result is much good than previous experiments but further extensive investigations are necessary. en_US
