Internship Report on ICDDR,B Library

Abstract

The internship program serves as a bridge for those wishing to make the transition from university life to the corporate level. Through the internship, I was able to learn about the actual work environment, which is very different from the academic environment. During my internship, I had the opportunity to work in a department to learn how a library develop resources My experience so far has helped me realize the things that are done within the organization, such as group work, work environment and peering support. Thus, the internship period provided me with an opportunity to broaden my knowledge and recognize my strengths/weaknesses. This will be useful for future career development.
