dc.description.abstract The article explores the nature of the impact of Covid19 on house-hold consumption of Dhaka city. By doing a survey of 200 residents, and graphically analyzing the survey data, the study identifies that Covid19 caused income loss, drop in consumption, shifts of consumption preference towards healthcare and online usage, and inclination to cashless transaction and online purchase. Thus, the study suggests that Covid19 impacts on consumption ability as well as consumer preference for consumption category, mode of payment, and method of purchase. en_US
