dc.description.abstract Throught this uttterly frusted utterence of estragon in writing in waiting for godot, samuel beckett broke the traditinal rules of drama and highlighted the crisis of exitence of the contempory post war generation by introducing the the threatre of the absurd. The identtity crisis in the aftermath of the second world war inevitably produce a group of writers who philosophised a life full of nihilism and absurdity. They found life meaningless and existence a mockery. Harold printer was one of the better known members of this group as a sensitive and sensible writer whow could not but embrance such an air of anisety and crisis of existance en_US
