dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this research work was to determine if there is any drug drug interaction in case of combination drugs taken with Atorvastatin at same time by comparative in-vitro dissolution study. Single dose of Atorvastatin was the standard to compare with other drugs taken at the same time with Atorvastatin. The other drugs that was given with Atorvastatin at the same time, selected by sorting out prescriptions of different cardiovascular patients from different hospitals. Some prescriptions were selected where a patient has to administer Atorvastatin with Sedil® Nidocard® twice daily. So with the dissolution test we can determine the %dissolved of drug hence its bioavailability and to see if there was any interaction with other drugs to increase or decrease %dissolved and bioavailability. The dissolution rate was determined in phosphate buffer pH6.8 using paddles at a speed of 75 rpm. The dissolution assay was determined through UV analysis at maximum wavelength of 242nm respectively.	en_US
